The information on this page was updated on 24th November 2001 by Lesley Wright who maintains a website www.otterjoy.com and has provided the following review:

A large site, steeply sloping and not suitable for wheelchairs or those who find walking difficult.  Otter specialists - 4 species including only Amazonian Giant Otter in UK. Roomy otter enclosures, lots of information signs. Friendly, knowledgable staff.  Designed for happiness of animals rather than human convenience.  Animals come and go as they please - a place to wait and watch, rather than expect to see the animals displayed.  Comfortable atmosphere, happy staff.
